Ingredients
1 tbsp Olive Oil
200g Chestnut Mushrooms
1 Onion, chopped
1 Garlic Clove, chopped
2 Chicken Breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
150ml Chicken Stock or White Wine
1 tsp Wholegrain Mustard
pinch Ground Nutmeg
125g Soured Cream
2 nests tagliatelle pasta
handful Parsley
to taste Salt & Pepper
Method
Slice all ingredients.
Saute the onions and garlic in the oil. Add in the chicken and mushrooms and fry until golden brown.
Add in the wine or stock and reduce. Lower the heat and mix in the mustard, nutmeg, seasoning.
Allow the head to cool for a few minutes then add the soured cream. Very gently warm for 3-4 minutes whilst the soured cream heats.
Serve with pasta, rice or mashed potatoes. Enjoy!
Good to know:
Allow the sauce to cool before adding in the soured cream- if it's too hot or you boil the soured cream, it will split!
Drink with a nice white wine, enjoy!
